Los Game Awards se llevaron a cabo el día de ayer y estuvo muy agradable y disfrutable, a comparación de otros años, demostrando que el show de Geoff Keighley (anfitrión del mismo) continúa mejorando año tras año, lo cual es ya un evento verdaderamente significativo en la industria de los videojuegos llena de estrenos mundiales, anuncios y premios que realmente importan.
Así que, ¿quiénes fueron los ganadores?. De seguro ya te diste cuenta por el encabezado de la nota que el Juego del Año (GOTY) 2018 se lo ha llevado God of War del estudio Santa Monica, el cual también se llevo el premio a Mejor Dirección de Juego y Mejor Juego de Acción/Aventura.
Red Dead Redemption 2 se llevó cuatro premios, uno más que God of War, incluyendo Mejor narrativa, Mejor Reparto Musical, Mejor Diseño de Audio y la Mejor Interpretación para Roger Clark como Arthur Morgan.
El juego más importante del año, Fortnite, se llevo a casa el Mejor Juego en Curso y el Mejor Multijugador. El juego independiente de Celeste ganó el Mejor juego independiente y el premio de Juegos por su Impacto. Ninja, por supuesto, ganó el premio de Creador de Contenido del año, aunque el verdadero jugador estrella de la noche fue SonicFox, ganador de El Mejor Jugador eSports del año, quien subió al escenario para aceptar el premio en su traje de furry de zorro azul.
